I know, I know...we've posted 4 times about Brad & Katie but we've finally reached the final one, and, it's the longest posting we've ever done. Remember to click on each picture because it resizes much, much larger!
Brad and the guys were hanging around waiting for the ladies to arrive when the subject of the altar came up. When I first saw it I thought it was one provided by Ohme Gardens. Nope. Brad made it, he "...whittled it out of beechwood" Ok, couldn't resist that 'Meet the Parents' reference but c'mon, really! Who makes their own altar? It looked amazing at the end of the aisle with the steep backdrop and Wenatchee in the distance below.
Katie arrived in a Porsche and was ushered towards the entrance to the gardens with an entourage of close friends wearing different shades and styles of green dresses. Everyone looked amazing as we climbed through the winding paths of Ohme. The girls (and I) hung out in this little alcove until we were retrieved and led to a hidden pool where they were about to be ushered from. Yes, a hidden pool.
Accompanied by a few hundred close friends and the sound of a harp, the ceremony went off beautifully with Katie and Brad standing under the handmade altar. After a few quick pictures of the couple we all packed up and headed to Cashmere for the reception! I could go on and on about how great the reception was and how hilarious their friends are but this posting is long enough without my verbose recollection of it all! Without further ado, here are Katie and Brad! (keep going, this post is so long it goes to the next page!)
